Piezo in consumentenartikelen

Piezo-actuators zijn compacte en goedkope krachtbronnen, die grote krachten kunnen genereren. Belangrijke nadelen zijn de geringe slag en de hoge bedrijfsspanning. Daardoor lenen ze zich niet direct voor toepassing in consumentenartikelen. Desondanks worden ze met succes toegepast voor de aandrijving van zoomlenzen en het automatisch focussen van fotocamera’s.
