DSPE Opto-Mechatronics Symposium 2026: Call for abstracts

The seventh edition of the DSPE Opto-Mechatronics Symposium will take place on 8 October 2026 in the Eindhoven region; the exact location is to be announced.

This year’s theme is ‘The opto-mechatronics of telescopes: from tiny to extremely large’. The instrumentation needed for imaging space has many challenges. In the design, materials and construction of these instruments, not only must the resolving power be taken into account, but there are also constraints regarding size, configuration, weight, and thermal variations. The event provides the latest technology developments in the instrumentation of telescopes. Presenters from academia and industry are invited to submit an abstract by sending an e-mail to info@dspe.nl; deadline is 30 May.

Please contact Julie van Stiphout (+31 6 54308703) for more information about this event.
