Applicaties van optische sensorsystemen in het elektriciteitsvoorzieningssysteem

Opnemers en sensoren spelen in geautomatiseerde processen een belangijke rol. Er is een toenemende vraag naar extra informatie uit de diverse processen. De behoefte aan betrouwbare en goedkope sensoren neemt toe. De meerwaarde van deze nieuwe optische sensorsystemen is dat informatie wordt verkregen van andere, nieuwe meetpunten die signalen leveren van een hogere kwaliteit. Er komen zeer veel nieuwe typen sensoren op de markt, de ‘technology push’ is groot. Toch vinden op dit moment juist in het elektriciteitsvoorzieningssysteem geen grootschalige toepassingen van moderne sensor-systemen plaats, ‘market pull’ is klein.
