Mikroniek October 2021: Astronomical science instrumentation

The October issue of Mikroniek features the Big Science-related theme of astronomical science instrumentation.


The cover story is devoted to the Dutch ‘marriage’ between astronomy and high-tech systems engineering, which has produced numerous contributions to ground-based telescopes and space missions, some of which are highlighted in the following articles. In addition, a preview of the once-again real-life Precision Fair is presented, as well as a report of the successful DSPE Conference on Precision Mechatronics.
