DSPE Conference 2025

In 2025, the DSPE Conference on Precision Mechatronics will take place on 23-24 September. Once again, the stage will be set in hotel De Ruwenberg in Sint-Michielsgestel (NL), which at previous DSPE conferences provided an inspiring and relaxed atmosphere for meeting peers in precision mechatronics.

By sharing knowledge and experience a steeper learning curve is obtained

One of the strengths of the Dutch high-tech ecosystem is the close collaboration, open communication and understanding each other’s disciplines. The DSPE Conference on Precision Engineering is contributing to these strengths via its mindset of sharing technical insights and struggles, and the strong sense of belonging to the community. The two days are packed with in-depth technical presentations, posters and demos and an attractive social program.

The conference is organised by and for technologists, designers and architects in precision mechatronics. Besides oral presentations, posters and demonstrations, the conference programme features ample opportunities for discussions, networking, and sharing ideas and experiences. Registration is open.

This conference is targeted at companies and professionals that are member of:

  • Dutch Society for Precision Engineering
  • Brainport Industries
  • Mechatronics Contact Groups MCG
  • Mechatronic Systems Knowledge Exchange MSKE
  • System Architecture Study Group SASG
  • Selected companies/academia

Theme 2025

This year’s theme ‘SustAIning Precision’, reflects the importance of sustaining the leading edge position in Precision Engineering of the Dutch High Tech ecosystem, based on the ability to adopt and enable major innovations, such as AI, while harmonizing these rapid evolutions with long-term goals. To keep our position at the forefront, we must embrace new ideas as well as sustainable practices, balancing the tension between accelerating innovation and ensuring lasting impacts. Sustaining continuous influx of diverse perspectives from young aspiring talents, and sharing experience and best practices between generations of engineers, help us stay ahead. Moreover, thoughtful approaches to sustainability can secure the future of our technologies. By navigating these dynamics, we can ensure our technological leadership remains both cutting-edge and enduring.
