Waarnemingen in het donker en weergave van warmtebeelden

Het is een oude droom van de mensheid ook in het donker te kunnen zien en meer tijd te kunnen gebruiken dan welke hem door de zonnecyclus wordt toegemeten of om de duisternis te kunnen doorbreken voor zijn eigen bescherming of comfort. Het is pas in de laastste decennia dat er vooruitgang is gemaakt en dat er technieken zijn ontwikkeld, die toelaten om ‘s nachts even goed en even comfortabel te kunnen zien als overdag. In dit artikel zullen een aantal toepassingen en vernieuwende concepten worden besproken, zoals ze ontwikkeld zijn bij Delft Sensor Systems.
