Simulatie, met behulp van Einidge Elementen Methoden, stroming simulaties en Matlab/Simulink simulaties, wordt steeds vaker toegepast tijdens het ontwikkelen van producten. Niet alleen het gebruik neemt toe, maar ook de effectiviteit waarmee deze tools worden ingezet. Simulaties worden in steeds vroegere fasen van een project toegepast.
