Powder Injection Moulding

In dit artikel worden de mogelijkheden geschetst van de vormgevingstechniek Powder Injection Moulding (PIM). De verschillende processtappen komen aan de orde en een vergelijking met andere vormgevingstechnieken wordt gemaakt. Verder wordt het spuitgieten van verschillende materialen behandeld. Tenslotte laat een praktijkvoorbeeld zien dat met succes de standtijd van een textielmachineonderdeel is verbeterd en de stukprijs is verlaagd door produktie op basis van PIM.
