Meerkanaals interferometer voor defectdetectie

In het kader van een promotie-onderzoek is een real time fasegestapte shearing spikkelinterferometer ontwikkeld. Met dit systeem kunnen defecten gedetecteerd worden in o.a. composiet materialen. Zulke materialen worden steeds populairder in de vliegtuigindustrie. Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen moeten deze materialen regelmatig getest worden op mogelijke defecten, zoals delaminaties en inslagschades.Om fysiek contact tussen object en meetsysteem te voorkomen, kunnen optische technieken gebruikt worden.
