Het verschijnsel licht heeft de mens altijd beziggehouden. Voor de grootste onder de fysici was de natuurkunde van het licht altijd een belangrijk onderwerp. Ik zal het hebben over enkele zeer nieuwe natuurverschijnselen behorend tot het domein van de lineaire klassieke optica, verschijnselen die nu al als fundamenteel worden aangemerkt.
