Keramiek als probleemoplosser

Vooroordelen! Die maken dat technische keramiek meestal niet als eerste oplossing voor een precisietechnologisch probleem wordt gekozen. Immers, keramiek heeft de reputatie bros en scheurgevoelig te zijn. Anderzijds heeft dat materiaal echter een aantal heel bijzondere eigenschappen. Zorg dat je er daar ten minste twee van benut en dat je tevens met slimme constructieve maatregelen de enkele bezwaren van keramiek ondervangt, stellen Kees Visser en Rick Bruggeman van Ceratec Technical Ceramics in Geldermalsen. Dan kun je trots op je precisietechnologische constructie vermelden: “Ceramic inside”.
