Oogchirurgen moeten bij hun operaties uiterst voorzichtig te werk gaan om schade aan zeer kwetsbare weefsels te voorkomen. De Eye Robot for Haptic Assisted Surgery (Eye RHAS) die in Eindhoven wordt ontwikkeld, kan hen hierbij helpen. De onderzoekers ontwikkelen een demonstratiemodel van een robot die het werk van oogchirurgen verlicht.
