De ontwikkeling van een stersensor voor telecommunicatie satellieten

Al geruime tijd is de TPD actief betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van tal van optische sensoren t.b.v. de standregeling van satellieten. De ontwikkelingen concentreren zich hoofddzakelijk op sensoren die gebaseerd zijn op detectie van de positie van de zon of van de (overige) sterren. Dergelijke TPD sensoren zijn in het algemeen “custom-made”, dus het ontwerp wordt toegespitst op of aangepast aan de specifieke behoeften van een bepaalde missie. Dit artikel geeft een samenvatting van de ontwikkeling van een moderne CCD stersensor.
