De nieuwe ambitie van de NVPT

In het Nederlandse ‘landschap’ van de precisietechnologie en hightech-maakindustrie neemt de NVPT een eigen plaats in. Momenteel komt dat landschap volop in beweging, gestimuleerd door het landelijk Innovatieplatform, dat ‘High-tech systemen en materialen’ aanwees tot sleutelgebied. Inmiddels leiden allerlei initiatieven tot krachtenbundeling, van de drie technische universiteiten (3TU) en grote maakbedrijven (HighTech Systems Platform) tot het Programme for High Tech Systems, de ‘voortzetting’ van het IOP Precisietechnologie, waarmee de NVPT nauw is verbonden. Alle reden dus voor het NVPT-bestuur om zich te bezinnen op de positie van de vereniging in dit hightech precisielandschap.
