New board member DSPE

Maurits van den Hurk, mechanical engineer at VDL Enabling Technologies Group in Eindhoven (NL), has joined the DSPE board.

As a team player, he is eager to solve complex (multi-disciplinary) engineering problems and is always looking for new challenges. On the DSPE board, he will invest his energy in the society’s Young Precision Network (YPN), which promotes precision engineering among young engineers. Maurits’ challenge will be to organise events, such as company visits, and – in more or less post-pandemic times – once again create the vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere for which YPN events are renowned.
