Mikroniek June 2023: Model-Based System Engineering

The June issue of Mikroniek is devoted to the theme of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). Gerrit Muller, an authority in the field of systems engineering, discusses the complexity and interoperability challenges.

Computer-aided systems engineering is introduced through the open-source Elephant Specification Language as a means of bridging the gap between requirements engineering and systems architecting. Equally fascinating is axiomatic design as a mathematical approach of high-tech systems design. An extensive article on system behaviour prediction by modelling and simulation provides the rationale for MBSE. Also included is a preview of the DSPE Conference on Precision Mechatronics 2023 on 26-27 September. Click here for a first impression. (Cover image courtesy of Ratio)
