Mikroniek February: from Agile eye to Zygo innovation

The February issue of Mikroniek, click here for a first impression, contains a preview of the High-Tech Systems 2018 event as well as inspiring examples of high-tech systems design. These include the VIRO Agile Eye, a 3-DoF spherical parallel manipulator with demanding specs in terms of velocity and acceleration, and Zygo’s new sub-nanometer-precision compact fibre interferometer sensor system. Other features cover the use of diamonds for precision machining of metals, and technologies for making micro-holes.
