The December issue of Mikroniek, click here for a first impression, features the theme of Software & machine learning. It covers applications in system control, surface metrology and mechanism design. A number of articles illustrate the pros & cons of ROS. Regarding software verification, a model-driven engineering software tool qualification flow is presented. ‘Off-theme’ topics include the development of a thermal suspension for the Athena space telescope X-ray camera and the strategic value of patent information. Of course reports of the 2018 Precision Fair and the Ir. A. Davidson and Wim van der Hoek Award ceremonies are featured.

Please send an e-mail for information on how to obtain a hardcopy of the December edition.
