The December issue of Mikroniek is dedicated in part to the theme of Energy (micro & macro). It features articles on miniaturised generators for energy harvesting and metrology for lightweight materials applications, as well as a call for abstracts for our 5th edition of the DSPE Conference 2020. Naturally, reports of the 2019 Precision Fair and the Rien Koster Award and Wim van der Hoek Award ceremonies are included. Additional articles present novel architectures for interventional X-ray systems; a large-stroke, flexure-based suspension design; multiple-nozzle coating technology; and algorithms for flexible post-processing of 3D-printed metal parts; click here for a first impression.
