The April issue of Mikroniek features the theme of microsystems. The cover story presents watch innovation based on a high-frequency oscillator designed as a compliant mechanism. The second theme article describes compliant ortho-planar mechanisms of which the stiffness can be tuned to be positive, negative or even close to zero.
