Optomechanical design of a robust Echelle spectrometer

This lunch lecture will present the optomechanical design of an Echelle spectrometer by Hittech Multin for one of its customers Spectral Industries. The spectrometer is used in a Raman-LIBS measurement set up in mining industry. The design is optimised for robustness but also for production. Most of the alignment is covered by integration tolerances. After integration only two final alignments have to be carried out.

This resulted in an easy to produce high stability spectrometer which can measure in-line spectra with a 0.3 nm resolution.

The speakers will be: Roelof Jongeneel, Pieter Kappelhof

We will start at 12:02pm on April 4 2022
