Punch Powertrain: Supplier of high precision drive trains
Precision is not only to be found in delicate equipme
nt and machinery. Also more robust applications may need precision in development and manufacturing. Punch Powertrain in an independent system supplier of fuel efficient drive trains, to be found in cars and other mobility applications. The VT3 Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and DT1 Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) are examples of successful Punch products. Robustness and reliability at low cost are key elements in drive train development, which require special skills and experience.A big step for Punch is that the product developed in Eindhoven (DT2) recently was chosen by Peugeot Citroen (PSA) as drivetrain solution for all their future hybrid vehicles globally.
