Lunch lecture November hosted by TU/e
The title of this lunch lecture is: Potential of fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance for precision mechatronics
About this event
The lecture will be given by Koen Classens, postdoctoral researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology.
In the high-tech manufacturing industry, such as the semiconductor industry, minimizing equipment downtime is crucial for maintaining productivity. Predictive maintenance, enabled by fault detection and isolation, enables to address system failures proactively. Digital twins, virtual counterparts of physical machines, offer a powerful tool for fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance by continuously comparing real-time data with predictions from mathematical models. This talk focuses on using these models, already developed during system design and integration phase, to enhance uptime and optimize the performance of mechatronic systems through systematic, model-based fault diagnosis.
Date: November 4th, 2024

Every first monday of the month DSPE organizes for their members a lunch lecture. Each time there is a different topic that a speaker is going to talk about.
We start after the sirens at 12:02pm. Questions can be asked after the 25 minutes presentation. If you want to keep informed about these lunch lectures please send an email to info@dspe.nl
