About this event

Aachen Polymer Optics Days (April 10-11, 2018)

Experts from industry and research will give inspiring lectures relating to manufacturing options and potential applications for optical polymer products.

The central focus will be on innovative manufacturing processes and applications in the field of polymer optics.

Within 23 interesting presentations experts from manufacturing industry will shed light on polymer optics following the sessions:

• Light sources and optical systems
• Continuous production of planar optics and films
• Innovative optical grade polymers and applications
• Injection molded Optics
• Digitalization for optics production

Besides the technical presentations participants can take part in a TOUR through the laboratory and test bench facilities at IKV, Fraunhofer IPT and ILT. Moreover, the conference provides for broad networking possibilities through coffee breaks in the industry exhibition area and a dinner event on the first conference day.
