About this event

The ASPE Annual Meeting will feature its well-known precision engineering tutorials, taught by world-renowned experts, a business forum, oral technical presentations, poster sessions, a student challenge and commercial exhibits. There will be many opportunities for networking and social exchanges, including a premier dinner at the Space Center Houston with opportunities to explore parts of the Space Center and test out flight simulators.

The Business Forum returns to the 39th Annual Meeting with a theme of Monetizing Precision. This Forum aims to equip attendees with the knowledge to identify markets and develop effective strategies for achieving product-market fit for their products and technologies.

ASPE is a global community advancing the science and art of precision engineering. Annual Meeting attendees represent leading businesses, government laboratories and university teams all joined together in the pursuit of the next decimal place. ASPE forms an accessible network – a resource pool – to learn from and present to, and a place to discover new concepts, processes and products to drive manufacturing to new levels of precision performance. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the 39th ASPE Annual Meeting in Houston!

Business Forum Description
The Business Forum returns to the 2024 Annual Meeting with a theme of Monetizing Precision. This forum aims to equip attendees with the knowledge to identify markets and develop effective strategies for achieving product-market fit for their products and technologies.

Creating an innovative product or technology is only part of the equation. For a business to succeed, it must attract customers willing to purchase at prices that cover expenses and generate profit. Without this, a business cannot sustain itself. This year’s forum, featuring presentations from successful business leaders, will provide attendees with practical tools and insights on how to explore new business opportunities and refine strategies for both new and existing markets. The goal is not just survival but thriving in a competitive landscape.

This forum is invaluable for entrepreneurs in start-ups as well as leaders in established organizations. Whether you are managing a one-person business, leading a small team, or overseeing a large enterprise, you will find this event enriching. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network and forge new connections within the precision engineering community.
