De hier beschreven meettechnieken worden gebruikt bij de vervaardiging en kontrole van optische komponenten zoals lenzen, spiegels en prisma’s. De meeste meettechnieken in de optiek berusten op het meten met licht. Hierbij maken we gebruik van de volgende verschijnselen: interferentie; reflectie en refractie.
