Fontys voert veel praktijkgericht onderzoek uit en innoveert volop in de High Tech. Studenten en docent-onderzoekers en bedrijven tonen onderzoeksresultaten in de vakgebieden: robotica, 3D-printing en Agro-Mechatronica, applied natural sciences, big data, business entrepreneurship, business service innovation, distributed sensor systems, electric drive, high tech embedded systems en interaction design.

Tijdens het event ook persoonlijke en inspirerende verhalen over de betekenis van technologie voor de samenleving: Power house Speeches: Rob Adams (Innovatiebureau Six Fingers), Raymond Klompsma (Tech StartUop reisorganisatie SRPR.ME), Pablo Slenders (Emojo Events), Haico van Nunen (lector Hogeschool Rotterdam), Nick van Breda (zelfstandige ondernemer) en Tim van Grinten (Tech StartUp ENVERSED).
