DSPE Symposium October 8 2026
Dear Opto-mechatronics engineer, R&D manager,
This symposium is intended for engineers and architects participating in or interested in the design and building of optical hardware. The event takes into account innovations, latest developments in opto-mechatronics, and practical insights for engineers and designers. It is a great moment to network, to meet technical peers, and to visit the expo. Earlier editions of this DSPE symposium were held in Delft (2015), Aachen (2017), Eindhoven (2019), and Veldhoven (2023, 2024).
The main theme of the Symposium: the opto-mechatronics of telescopes: from tiny to extremely large
The instrumentation required for imaging space poses many challenges. The design, materials, and construction of these instruments must not only consider resolving power, but are also subject to constraints related to size, configuration, weight, and thermal variations. This event highlights the latest technological developments in telescope instrumentation.
Besides the main theme there are a few interesting Opto-mechatronics related topics programmed.

Organisations are invited to exhibit
Your exhibition stand during the symposium wil have a of space 8m², including electricity and a standing table. Logo of your organisation / company will be shown on the DSPE webpage of the symposium. Investment: € 500.00 excl VAT. Standcrew need to register as attendees.
