Geintegreerde lagereenheden

In de wentellagertechniek wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen discrete (afzonderlijke) en geintegreerde lagereenheden (LE). In discrete lagereenheden worden genormaliseerde wentellagers toegepast. Echter in geintegreerde lagereenheden, ook wel IBU (Integral Bearing Unit) genaamd, zijn de loopgroeven direct in de as, respectievelijk het huis, geintegreerrd.
