Mikroniek September: Manufacturability
5 September 2019
The September issue of Mikroniek, click here for a first impression, features the theme of manufacturability in a very broad sense. Obviously, additive manufacturing (AM) is covered extensively, with a general update, the design of a PEEK printer and a glass printer, micro-AM and the post-processing and cleaning of printed parts. Other manufacturing technologies are present as well, such as conventional ultra-precise machining, metal etching, casting, water-jet-guided laser cutting, and sensor-based adaptive laser micromachining. To finish off the theme, value engineering and industrialisation are highlighted.
