YPN Visit Frencken Mechatronics Eindhoven

YPN

6 - 3 June 2014

On the 3rd of June, the Young Precision Network visited Frencken Mechatronics in Eindhoven. The visit started off with several presentations, including a presentation on the development of a 'EUV reticle handling stage' by Mark van de Akker. Another presentation discussed the development process within Frencken using the example of a medical scannen. Using this example Fred Theuws discussed the communication with the client, the creation of specifications and how this successful development was executed within Frencken.

After the presentations, we visited the R&D department and factory, including a demonstration of a new medical operation table that is now under development by Frencken.

Afterwards, we had a pleasant discussion on the interesting afternoon.
